Where Design Meets Function: A MerxPrime × JKLV Collaboration

client

In modern retail and showroom design, glass has become more than just a material — it’s a statement. It creates openness, invites natural light, and allows spaces to feel larger and more connected.

But as visually appealing as glass is, it also introduces a common challenge:
how do you maintain privacy and structure without sacrificing that openness?

This question became the starting point of our collaboration with JKLV Trading Corporation — a brand known for delivering cabinetry solutions that transform everyday spaces into refined, functional homes.

With years of experience in creating modern, lifestyle-driven interiors, JKLV understands that great design goes beyond appearance. It’s about how a space feels, how it functions, and how it supports the way people live.

A Shared Vision for Better Spaces

JKLV’s showroom in CW Home Depot is designed not just to display products, but to inspire.

As a cabinetry specialist, their goal is to help clients visualize how thoughtfully designed elements — from storage systems to finishes — can elevate everyday living.

Glass plays a key role in achieving this. It keeps the showroom open, bright, and inviting, allowing customers to fully appreciate the materials and craftsmanship of each display.

But openness alone isn’t enough.

Both MerxPrime and JKLV recognized that for a space to truly feel complete, it needs a balance between visibility, privacy, and structure.

From Material to Experience

Rather than adding physical barriers or altering the layout, the approach was to enhance what was already there.

Together with JKLV, we explored how glass could become more than just a transparent surface — but an active part of the design experience.

This collaboration wasn’t just about installation.

It was about aligning two perspectives:

  • JKLV’s expertise in interior and cabinetry design
  • MerxPrime’s specialization in architectural film solutions

The goal was simple: create a showroom that not only looks modern, but feels intentionally designed in every detail.

The Solution: Designed Glass Surfaces

To bring this vision to life, we installed a combination of three decorative films:

Linea

Introduces vertical lines that complement the structured, clean aesthetic of JKLV’s cabinetry designs. It adds rhythm and visual order without overwhelming the space.

Gradient B

Provides privacy at lower sightlines — particularly important in areas where clients interact more closely with displays. It creates comfort without blocking light.

Gradient C

Offers a softer transition at eye level, diffusing visibility just enough to define spaces while maintaining openness.

A Space That Reflects Both Brands

The result is a showroom that feels cohesive and intentional — where every element works together.

JKLV’s cabinetry designs remain the focal point, enhanced by glass surfaces that now support the overall experience rather than compete with it.

The space now feels:

  • Open, yet thoughtfully defined
  • Modern, yet comfortable
  • Functional, yet visually refined

It’s a balance that reflects both brands — combining design expertise with performance-driven solutions.

Beyond the Showroom: A Continuing Partnership

This collaboration goes beyond a single installation.

As part of the partnership, JKLV can now introduce architectural film solutions as an added option for their clients — particularly for cabinetry and glass elements within residential spaces.

From decorative privacy films to protective solutions, this creates new possibilities for homeowners looking to enhance both design and functionality in their spaces.

At the same time, the showroom serves as a real-life demonstration of how these films can be integrated seamlessly into modern interiors.

Designed for Modern Living

The MerxPrime × JKLV collaboration highlights how today’s spaces are no longer defined by materials alone, but by how those materials are used.

Because great design isn’t just about what you see.

It’s about how every element — from cabinetry to glass — works together to create a better living experience.

And sometimes, the most impactful transformations happen not by adding more…
but by redefining what’s already there.
